Changes to a scheduled course made prior to 8 days of course date will result in no monetary penalty.
Cancellation of a course made prior to 8 days of course date will result in an administration fee of $10.00 per course in order to cover Merchant Service charges.
Cancellation/change of dates require 8 days prior notification in order to avoid an administration fee of $50.00 per course.
Failing to attend a confirmed course without prior notification will result in the forfeiture of the entire course fee.

*Student manuals are available for purchase for an additional $20.00 either from us on course day or you may order one in advance of your course by contacting the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO) order desk at their website at www.fseso.org and providing them your credit card information.  A manual will be shipped to you with no shipping charges. The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (PAL) starts at 8:00 a.m. sharp with a course overview, introduction to all training firearms and preliminary safe firearms handling demonstrations by your instructor.  The day ends 8-10 hours late with written examinations and practical handling testing following course conclusion.  Day classes for restricted firearms safety training also begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude with written examinations and practical firearms handling testing.

Students are encouraged to pack a lunch and snacks as staying “on site” during lunch break will enhance networking among your instructors and classmates, while affording you more time to handle and become familiar with the training firearms. A refrigerator and microwave are available for your use in the kitchen/dining area. You may of course choose to purchase lunch from a number of good restaurants all located in close proximity to our Academy.

The Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (RPAL) commences at 8:00 a.m. the following morning and the course concludes 4-6 hours later upon completion of the required written & practical testing.  Please note that examinations and written tests will not be available for students attending the restricted course (RPAL) who are under the age of 18 years of age years.

BUSINESS HOURS

Ready Aim Firearms Safety Inc. schedules full courses during regular business hours, Monday through Friday and also on most week-ends.  Just check our course calendar under the heading “Classes” for a date that suits your needs.  Please note that we are note open for business every day of the week.  If you are planning on dropping by for any reason you are encouraged to call ahead for an appointment.  Instructors WILL NOT interrupt regular classes to entertain unscheduled walk-ins!

WRITTEN TEST & PRACTICAL EXAMINATION

The tests that you will be given are the official Canadian Firearms Program examinations and they are administered following the full course.  Candidates must achieve a minimum mark of 80% on both the written and practical examinations to pass successfully.  If the candidate fails to meet the requirement on one or the other, then both exams must be repeated at a cost of $60.00.  Please note that you do not have to repeat the entire course.

*****DON’T BE FOOLED BY UNAUTHORIZED FIREARMS SAFETY INSTRUCTION AGENCIES***ALWAYS ASK FOR AN ONTARIO DESIGNATION NUMBER ISSUED BY THE CHIEF FIREARMS OFFICER BEFORE COMMITTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO A PHONY!******

If you choose not to use the services of Ready Aim Firearms Safety Incorporated we encourage you to first verify with your chosen instructor that he/she is designated at law by the Chief Firearms Officer for Ontario to teach the Canadian Firearms Safety Courses.

Simply ask your proposed instructor to provide you with their ON# issued by the CHIEF FIREARMS OFFICER FOR ONTARIO.  If they can not do this, you can easily verify their status with the Firearms Safety Education Service of Ontario (FSESO) at www.fseso.org and clicking on “Find and Instructor”.  Paying good money to non-designated persons for firearms safety instruction will result in personal disappointment and unnecessary licencing delays due to the fact that your training will not be recognized and you will need to re-take the course before being issued a firearms licence.   You may also loose your initial tuition money.

READY AIM FIREARMS SAFETY INC.
is a recognized firearms safety training academy that uses ONLY CFO designated, qualified and insured Canadian Firearms Safety Course instructors.  Please feel free to check our client reviews on “Google Business Reviews”.
