In all other circumstances, non-resident adults (over the age of 18) will have to get either a valid Canadian Firearms Licence that allows them to acquire firearms or a Temporary Firearms Borrowing Licence (form JUS 715 EF). This Non-Resident Temporary Borrowing Licence costs $30 Canadian and can be renewed once for an additional $30 provided that the renewal is made before it expires. Non-residents may have their sponsors apply on their behalf for their Non-Resident Temporary Borrowing Licence.
